i can’t say a lot about other art programs unfortunately, because i’ve never really strayed outside of sai, but i remember trying opencanvas for a bit and i think artrage was supposed to be pretty good as well! The only art program i use religiously is paint tool sai! i downloaded a version of photoshop a long time ago but i only use it to touch up colors or make transparent backgrounds. the pen has a bit of a bounce to it and i had some problems with it suddenly not working but i think that might have been because i had more than one tablet’s software installed? i’m a little cautious about it right now, i have to use it more but i’m waiting it out because reinstalling everything messed with my old tablet’s drivers ahhh i also recently got a huion tablet with a rechargeable pen! it’s got 4x the pressure sensitivity as my old one and it was only $49. i’ve heard the monoprice tablets are a good bet if you’re looking for something more affordable! here is a great review on them. i find wacom to be very reliable though their products can get really pricey. i’ve only had to replace its nib once in the 5+ years i’ve had it (though that may have to do with how lightly i draw). this thing has lasted me for so long, even when it’s standing on its last legs it’s working hard. When i started drawing digitally i used a medium bamboo fun. SHH ANON YOU’RE NOT A BOTHER AT ALL!!! ahh i’m not too knowledgable about this stuff because i haven’t tried a lot of different tools but i can tell you what i have used!
